LAUNCH mentors at UC Berkeley contribute expertise in basic, translational, quantitative, and engineering sciences that complement research in kidney, urology, and non-malignant hematology (KUH). Their diverse backgrounds span bioengineering, molecular and cell biology, immunology, metabolic biology, biostatistics, epidemiology, and related fields. Through these interdisciplinary perspectives, trainees can explore innovative scientific approaches, develop new research skills, and build collaborative mentoring relationships that connect fundamental discovery with important questions in KUH research.
